The Final Event on the Calendar
This is always a very special evening - a time to get together again after our September event and to catch up with old friends and enjoy a yarn! The evening starts with a photo session in front of the Bale Man with all the Committee and recipients of cheques with the iconic Goose Rock as the back drop. We then head inside the Bowgie for the actual presentation of the cheques to the representatives of the selected organisations / charities for 2017. As many of you will know we had hoped to reach the magic figure of £100,000 raised since the event began in 2000, and we are delighted to announce that we have done it!! We have waited until the Presentation Evening to announce this as it always takes a while after the event as we have money to pay out and money to come in!
