The Crantock Bale Push was another outstanding success last Friday, despite the early evening rain attempting to put a dampener on this great annual charity event.
A wonderful 101 teams of all ages enjoyed a fun evening racing Straw Bales though Crantock village. Hundreds of smiling people enjoyed another immensely successful evening whilst helping to raise more than £5,000 for various Cornish and local charities.

The longest ever Straw Bale Push will happen in Crantock near Newquay this week - to raise much needed funds for Crantock girl Carly Taylor.
The staggering plan for a 24 Hour Endurance Bale Push will definitely set World Endurance and Distance records. It will start at six o’clock in the evening on Thursday 12th September and last for 24 hours, finishing on Friday 13th September at six o’clock in the evening – non-stop all through the night and day.
