The Crantock Bale Push is all about supporting good causes and doing our part to give back to our local community. Each year the event is held to support a number of worthwhile organizations to help raise both money and awareness. This year we are supporting the following organizations:• Crantock Church Roof • Macmillan Cancer Support in Cornwall • Cubert School • Crantock Memory Café • St Petroc’s Society
The Crantock Bale Push was another outstanding success last Friday, despite the early evening rain attempting to put a dampener on this great annual charity event.
A wonderful 101 teams of all ages enjoyed a fun evening racing Straw Bales though Crantock village. Hundreds of smiling people enjoyed another immensely successful evening whilst helping to raise more than £5,000 for various Cornish and local charities.
The longest ever Straw Bale Push will happen in Crantock near Newquay this week - to raise much needed funds for Crantock girl Carly Taylor.
The staggering plan for a 24 Hour Endurance Bale Push will definitely set World Endurance and Distance records. It will start at six o’clock in the evening on Thursday 12th September and last for 24 hours, finishing on Friday 13th September at six o’clock in the evening – non-stop all through the night and day.
One of Cornwall’s celebrated new annual traditions, the Crantock Bale Push event is back this week, giving hundreds of people of all ages an opportunity to enjoy themselves in the heart of the village while helping to raise thousand of pounds for local and very deserving causes!
